Will this course help me lose weight?

While we make no claims for weight loss, when the body is balanced and the metabolism is working as it should, a healthy weight should be established as part of the process. Weight loss also depends on how deep dysfunction is rooted. The body hardly ever heals and loses weight at the same time. For true, sustainable weight loss to happen, the body must heal first!

Will this course heal my (*disease*, *auto-immune condition*, *hormone problem*) fill in the blank?

We make no claims to diagnose, treat or cure any health condition. However, the body WANTS to heal and be balanced! Hi! We're April & Claire!

We're a team of a board certified nutrition professional (April) and personal trainer/ boutique fitness studio owner (Claire) who've had the privilege of helping hundred's of women get to the bottom of nagging health concerns instead of just managing symptoms.

April: In the past 3 years, I've lost both of my parents. My dad to a stroke and my mom to breast cancer. I'm an only child and was thrust into caring fulltime for my mom and taking care of the family affairs, along with caring for my own family (I'm a mom to 3 teenagers and wife to a workaholic entrepreneur). For years, I had followed a paleo diet, then keto and added in intermittent fasting. I was always drawn to the traditional way of eating -enjoying all foods but focusing on quality, making things from scratch, eating - and enjoying- bread, but I thought I could eat these foods AFTER I had healed my body from severe gut issues and lifelong anxiety and depression.

But the stress of caring for my parents, couple with my restrictive eating habits wrecked my adrenal function and forced my body into a hypothyroid state. I quickly needed a new plan to heal.

Little did I know that foods I longed to eat would be the foods that would heal my thyroid function in less than six months and put me on a path of food freedom and lifestyle balance.

My journey led me to Claire, when I took a pilates class from her and noticed how different her teaching style was from others. She connects with her body and guides us to connect with our own in a way I had never learned before.

For me, exercise was a duty or punishment (sometimes!), but for Claire it was a practice of self-love. Claire has been teaching me how to train for optimal results while supporting my body's metabolic needs for a while now and I knew she is the perfect partner to support your exercise needs too!
